Heriz rugs

Heriz rugs comes from the area of Heriz in northwest Iran. Heriz rugs are very famous among collectors. Heriz is a very hard-wearing rug and is known as the Iron Rug of Iran. Heriz rugs come in various sizes but the majority of them are medium size (4 x 6 to 8 x 10 feet). Weavers in Heriz use Turkish knots. The quality of Heriz rug depends upon the number of knots.
